I'd go even further and say "What impact will Oprah Winfrey's endorsement have on Barack Obama's candidacy?" Unless we're referring to more than her endorsement ('involvement"?)

I think it sounds too vague as is...

I think people would know who we're referring to, but I think that for purposes of consistency of style/ formality on the site, using her full name is better.  (People know who Obama is too, but this still says "Barack Obama.")

I wouldn't mind using "The Oprah Effect" or "The Oprah Bounce" as a phrase.  That would be something like, "Will 'the Oprah Effect' have a significant impact on Barack Obama's campaign?"  I think the current wording is the most straightforward though, just add her last name and good to go.

There are definitely a lot of responses online right now to what I think is best referred to as "The Oprah Effect". She reaches a large portion of what could turn out to be an interesting voting demographic for this election.

I'm personally not sold on making it "Oprah Winfrey" though... she's at the level of being known worldwide by just her first name.

Sure.

I've been finding a lot of these in the course of getting evidence for whether endorsements influence the outcome of elections.  There's a bit of overlap there but I don't mind having both.
