Many attributed climate change to that hurricane season. I'm not sure that's so fair, but they did. Maybe not as much after last year. I'll have to look into that more. I like "intense" more than busy. Nice.

Do we want to keep this (after a less active 2006)? If so, I like the wording "Was the intense hurricane season of 2005 caused by climate change?" (I don't love "busy.") Tho I think you can also use "global warming" if that is indeed the question being asked.
I like your suggestion Jacki

I'm not sure where it goes, but if its being debated on the Internet, it should be debated at WIS.
Really, I'm not sure how you can be 100% certain what a Hurricane Season can be. Scientists try and guess at it, but are often wrong. What can the laymen of WIS do other than pull a guess out of thin air. Unless, someone or two someones are psychic (and disagree with each other) this one I don't think will work.
I like keeping it here. the only objective aspect of this issue is htat you are asking a question about hte storms, therefore this is the 'natural' topic for it. you may not think global warming had anything to do with the hurricanes and thus this issue does not belong in the topic Global Warming. How about revising it to - Were the 2005 hurricanes the result of climate change?Yes.No.
Sorry, I have a gambling problem...
