I'm certain that there are opinions on both sides of this debate.  In fact, since we just added a bunch of religious groups to the site, there should be a lot of opportunity here.

Not super interested in this, but curious what the avowedly faithful among us think of the issue.

    Interesting, I'm fine with it.

I agree.  This could spark some debate.

    I think it's a great discussion.

as an atheist, i love this issue.  i suspect christitans will freak out but really it's a great question.  doubt is a part of life. there's no reason why it can't apply to god.

Andrew Sullivan talks a lot about doubt being the most crucial part of faith.  I think there's a debate here.  I love the idea...

AS: I don't think so. I think that Augustine, or St. Paul, who said that we see through a glass darkly as humans, that Jesus Himself on the cross at the very end doubted His own Father. "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"

RAM: Well, that's an eccentric reading--most Christians don't read that as doubt.

AS: Now, if Jesus can doubt on the cross, doubt is part of faith.
