The lines are already drawn, and evidence will be easy to find. Here's a bill to implement the recommendations, with 44 co-sponsors.

Almost six months after former Secretary of State James A. Baker III and former Democratic Rep. Lee Hamilton of Indiana presented a comprehensive strategy for Iraq known as the Iraq Study Group recommendations -- which President Bush did not quite enthusiastically embrace -- a bipartisan group of U.S. senators introduced legislation Tuesday to use the group's recommendations as the foundation for future U.S. policy in Iraq. Alexander and Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo., are leading the bipartisan group, which includes Democratic Sens. Bob Casey Jr. of Pennsylvania, Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor of Arkansas, and Republican Sens. Bob Bennett of Utah, Judd Gregg and John Sununu of New Hampshire.

Yeah, aren't the Dems supporting a lot of the ISG recs in their latest agenda also? I'm ok with it.
Anyone else?

i'm fine with this issue
It's going to come down on the surface to, pro-surge pro-study group approach pro-murtha
i take back my previous comment ... here's why.
i'm just not sure we can get evidence on this one. will anyone say, "yes, let's adopt all of the recommendations". there are 79 recommendations in the report.
It's hard to say flat out that we should follow every single recommendation. I was looking for a more overall we support the general sentiment. There are a lot of recommendations in the 9/11 commission that both sides agree shouldn't be implemented.
i like this. should we include an "all" qualifier?
I was looking for something beyond should we follow this recommendation or that one; and that's should the U.S. rally behind this bipartisan commission to turn things around in Iraq?
