try "contribute" indicates many causes.

Promote = cause, in many legal standpoints. Cause, in general usage, is too close a linkage (e.g., I played Doom3 for 18 hours straight one time - and I didn't go postal on anybody...so they don't cause nuthin')

I would say "promote" rather than cause, and 'video games' is two words. Also, should sex in video games be part of this issue as well (a la 'Hot Coffee')?
