Stem cell research should be pursued. The world would be better off if we knew how the human body worked, imagine a world where there are few diseases, and all die from old age, and not from cancer or AIDs. Stem cell research can provide new ways of curing diseases, help people live longer, I believe its a good thing.

I like this because it's not clouded by the question of federal funding. Public figures at the state level usually don't say anything one way or another about federal funding for research. I think we need this at least in addition to, if not in place of, our current issue.

actually, i'd prefer to revise this and use it to replace our current issue on stem cell research.the reason that our current issue does not work is that it asks about "stem cell research" in general and the heart of the issue is really about embryonic stem cells.  i think we should revise and approve:
