Fair enough. Let's stick with the initial wording. Any naysayers out there?

I liked the initial wording targeting low carb. Diet exists on an individual basis oftentimes and what may work for one person won't necessarily work for another.. and some may work better for some than others, but only by virtue of physical makeup and not the actual efficiacy of the diet itself...
Random note ~ I remember low-carb diets were all the craze for a while, but aren't Asians the ones that eat rice (carbs) with practically every meal and tend to be some of the slimmest lol
I think "weight loss routine" would have to include an "exercise alone" option... the things you list are diets... remember, dietary plans are not mutually exclusive to the idea of losing weight, but also to the idea of maintaining... or even gaining in some cases... You also forgot the blood-type diet...
Raw could be another option.
NYTimes
After two years of effort the dieters lost, on average, 6 to 10 pounds. The study, funded in part by the Atkins Research Foundation, seemed designed to prove that low-carb diets trump low-fat diets. But in the end, all it really showed is that dieters can put forth tremendous effort and reap very little benefit.
We have "what effect do low-carb diets have on your health" but we don't have anything related to their effectiveness when it comes to losing weight.
Is it possible to do a "which is the most effective weight loss routine?" -Low-carb diets (Atkins) -Glycemic index programs (Nutrisystem) -Calorie Based Programs (Weight Watchers) -Vegetarian/Vegan

not really. It's a fact that boiling leeches more nutrients out of the food than does steaming...
This is debatable?
You can steam meat too though.
