The wording of this question is a little tricky, as the central problem of Palestinians is their unwillingness to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. As far as I understand Palestinians have no problem recognizing existence of an Israeli nation. It is the requirements that Israel has to be Jewish state that they oppose, since that would automatically preclude the repatriation of the Palestinian refugees.

Better way to phrase it, I agree. And great issue. I say we get it up and approved.
Is it better as should or will, or not at all.
I am such a little framer. Let's see how it plays out here...

i think we need to delete "ever" as well as "right to" they imply a bias. i'm also not convinced that the futuristic "will" question is that interesting. I prefer a debate over whether Palestine SHOULD recognize Israel. how about: Should the Palestinian government recognize Israel as a nation?

it's unclear whether this is asking about the palestinian government or palestinian people. I think the former would be more relevant than the latter.
