I'd have to agree with Vizinertia.  The most evidence will be found in reference to the federal government.

I've heard people advocate the abolition of all minimum wage laws (libertarians, etc.). I'm fine with this one.

Should businesses be able to set wages without interference of the government?
No position or position not known.

I also like Jacki's version, "Should government regulate wages?"

However, I think what we're talking about is: "Should the federal government regulate wages?" Even the recent discussion about eliminating the federal minimum wage was on the assumption that it was a proper role of state government. While someone might legitimately believe that no government should interfere with the marketplace, I don't think that's the current issue that was recently discussed.

Good one.  ("Interference from the government," maybe.)

In favor of Jacki's revision as well.
