Its a good issue with sub-topic spin-off potential. I say, approve it.

i understand that nick wants to offer up a different view point in issues but i think our issues are always worded in a way that allows BOTH viewpoints to come out in the blogs.  i do not want to see every conceivable scenario for immigration reform in issues.  it's pointless.  like i said elsewhere, pretty soon we are going to see a "do you support shooting illegals" issue.  will nick be happy then?  i say no.

should we do the exceptions as a sub-issue?

also, should we make jacki happy and instead ask,

what should be done with people residing illegally in the United States?
    -deport them
    -offer temporary "guest worker" visas
    -offer citizenship
    -offer hugs
